Whilst you may have missed a couple of the early Van festivals this year (it was probably raining), now that the weather is starting to warm up a bit, here are a few campervan festivals that are likely to be attracting the crowds over the next two months:

  1. Van Love Festival (York, 19-21 July 2024) https://www.vanlove.com/

According to their website, the event brings you ‘The Ultimate Vanlife Experience’ at The Main Runway, Elvington Airfield, Whitley Way, Elvington YO41 4AU

From micro campers to overlanders, with a list of Amazing DJ’s, Survivors Convoy, Comedy, Live Music, Workshops, Village of love & wellness, Traders, Food Village. Book tickets on their website.

  1. Bug Jam (Northamptonshire, 26-28 July 2024) https://bugjam.co.uk/ The event is held at Santa Pod Raceway, ‘The Pod's original and best Summer fest’. Santa Pod Raceway, Airfield Road, Podington, Wellingborough, Northants, NN29 7XA.

Listed as a family friendly festival at the Santa Pod Raceway, a vibrant and fun atmosphere, bringing to life the very essence of VW and Campervan culture, so make sure the van is polished within an inch of its life & you give it a quick vacuum. Europe’s largest Show with an eclectic mix of Drag Racing, Run What Ya Brung, Music, Show & Shine, Kids Zone, Comedy, Stunt Displays, Fun Fair, massive Trade Village, Retrojumble and much more. Book tickets and learn more on their website.

  1. Van life Eats (Basingstoke, 23-25 August 2024) https://vanlifeeats.com/vanlife-eats-2024/ Vans and food, what more could you ask for? (sunshine, no potholes, lower diesel prices possibly).

The original VanLife food festival at Dummer farm Basingstoke in August, 3 days of food, vans, music and family fun, with tickets available still through the website.

There is a list of talks, wellness events, bands and van related workshops that can be attended over the 3 days.

  1. Camper Calling (Warwickshire, 23-25 August 2024) https://www.campercalling.com/ Ragley Hall, Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5NJ.

The list of bands playing would take several pages, but if you fancy some Travis, Jessie J, Zutons, Groove Armada etc over 3 days in Warwickshire then visit the site for some tickets. There are also activities, workshops, wellness and stuff for the kids, plenty to keep everybody busy.

Of course, if you don’t fancy parking up in a field and dancing like no one is watching, then you could always read on of our blogs about our more relaxing campsites around the UK .
