If you're a campervan enthusiast, you know that staying warm during those chilly nights is crucial for a comfortable adventure. Diesel heaters have become a popular choice for many van lifers due to their efficiency and reliability, with models like our own MV Airo 2 Alpine Auto model, which features an altitude mode that automatically adjusts up to 5000m, so you’ll never have to worry about the heater not working at the highest of peaks!

Here's a quick guide to help you understand why diesel heaters are the perfect addition to your own campervan setup.

Why Choose a Diesel Heater?

  1. Efficiency and Fuel Economy: Diesel heaters are known for their fuel efficiency. They use a small amount of diesel to produce a significant amount of heat, making them a cost-effective option for long-term use. The heaters are plumbed directly into the vans fuel tank so there is no messing about with extra tanks.
  2. Reliability: Diesel heaters are designed to work in extreme conditions, providing consistent heat even in the coldest environments. This reliability makes them a favourite among those who travel to colder regions.
  3. Safety: Modern diesel heaters can be mounted externally, under the van with our fixing bracket kits, taking up no space within the van, modern technology ensures a safe heating solution for your campervan and your nights away.
